Zoomerang
Problem Solving Steps
If you have trouble using the Zoomerang website or taking a
Zoomerang survey,
you should check to make sure that Javascript and Cookies are
enabled in your
browser as listed below.
Step 1 - Check to make sure
that cookies are enabled on your browser.
A cookie is a small text file that allows the Zoomerang website
to keep you logged
into the site or to keep track of your progress in a survey.
Cookies must be enabled
to use the Zoomerang site.
Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0

Select Tools.
-
Select Internet
Options.
-
Click the Privacy
tab.
-
Move the slider to
Medium or lower
(click
the Default
button first if you don't see the slider).

Click OK
button.
Internet Explorer 5.0
-
Select Tools.
-
Select Internet
Options.
-
Click on the
Security tab.
-
Click on the Custom
Level button.
-
Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer,"
click "Enable".
-
Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)," click
"Enable".
-
Select OK to save the settings.
AOL 9.0:
-
From the AOL Toolbar, select
Settings.
-
Click the Internet
[Web] Options link.
-
Click the Use your
Internet Explorer Settings link.
-
Select the Privacy
tab.
-
Move the slider to
Medium or lower.
-
Click OK
button.
-
Close the Setting window.
Mozilla Firefox 2.x:
-
Select Tools.
-
Select Options.
-
Click on the
Privacy tab.
-
Make sure that the box next to
Accept Cookies from Sites is
checked.
-
Click the OK
button.
Safari 2.0:
-
Select the Safari
menu.
-
Select Preferences.
-
Click on Security.
-
Click the Always
option in the
Accept Cookies section.
If you have a different browser than those listed above, please
refer to the help in your
browser for information about how to enable cookies.
Step 2 -- Check
to make sure that Javascript is enabled on your browser.
Javascript is required for the pages on the Zoomerang website to
function properly.
Internet Explorer 5.0, 6.0, or 7.0

Select Tools.

Select Internet
Options.
-
Click on Security
tab.
-
Click the Custom
Level button.
-
Scroll down to the
Scripting section.
-
Under Active
Scripting, click the
Enable
bubble.
-
Click the OK
button twice.
AOL 9.0
-
From the AOL Toolbar, select
Settings.
-
Click the Internet
[Web] Options link.
-
Click the Use your
Internet Explorer Settings link on the
right.
-
Click on Security
tab.
-
Click the Custom
Level button.
-
Scroll down to the
Scripting section.
-
Under Active
Scripting, click the
Enable
bubble.
-
Click the OK
button twice.
-
Close the Settings windows.
Firefox 2.x
-
Select Tools.
-
Select Options.
-
Click on the
Content option.
-
Put a check mark next to
Enable Javascript.
-
Click OK.
Safari 2.0
-
Select the Safari
menu.
-
Select Preferences.
-
Click on Security.
-
Check the Enable
Javascript option.
If you have a different browser than those listed above, please
refer to the help in your
browser for information about how to enable Javascript.
If you are still experiencing issues accessing a Zoomerang
survey once you have
followed the steps above, we recommend that you clear
your cache file and
then clear
your cookies if necessary. You may also want to
try an alternate
browser such as Firefox .
