How to create “Possible Spam”

Rule/Filter in Webmail 7

This rule will move all incoming messages, with POSSIBLE SPAM in the subject field, to the Junk Mail folder.  This rule will not move any messages you have already received, those you will still need to delete manually.  Please check Junk Mail folder and delete messages on a regular basis.

  • Logon to Webmail 7 with your username and password and click on the word "Options" in the upper right hand side of the main window.

  • Click on the Rules tab in the middle of the window
  • Click on the down arrow to change "Type:" field to "Move to Folder" and click on the "Create" button.

  • Give the rule a name, call it POSSIBLE SPAM.
  • Under "Define Optional Condition," change the "If" field to "Subject," next field to "Contains" and type in POSSIBLE SPAM in the last field on the right.
  • Click on the radio button to the left of "Junk Mail".  If you don't have a Junk Mail folder, you will need to add one.  Follow the instructions below to add a new folder.
  • Click the "Save" button.

Now all incoming messages, with POSSIBLE SPAM in the subject field, will be moved to the Junk Mail folder.  This rule will not move any messages you have already received, these you still need to delete manually.  Please check this folder and delete messages on a regular basis.
